CYBERSECURITY COMMITTEE
House Bill 96 requires political subdivisions to set and adopt a Cybersecurity Program safeguarding against cybersecurity threats and ransomware attacks. The requirements of R.C. 9.64 are effective September 30, 2025. Lake County recognizes the increasing threats and risks associated with cyberattacks that could compromise the security of government operations, sensitive data, and public trust. Protecting the digital infrastructure of Lake County is essential to ensure the continuity of Lake County Government services, safeguard residents’ information, and promote economic stability.

The Board of Lake County Commissioners created a Cybersecurity Committee to review the Lake County Cybersecurity Program on November 20, 2025, and appointed the members below to the Lake County Cybersecurity Committee. Resolution
