This is a reminder that there will be a quarterly test of the Lake County WENS activation for EOC staff next Wednesday, January 11th, 2023 at 10:00 am. This will occur one hour prior to the quarterly audible siren test.
The caller ID phone number for the Lake County WENS system is (440) 350-5310. If you can, please program this in your cell phone as a contact (Lake EOC/WENS, or whatever you would like to name it) so that your cellular provider & phone software is less likely to flag it as SPAM.
Also remember, after you answer the call and say “HELLO”, the message will just begin playing, no key is necessary.
After the message, you will be prompted to hit “1” to acknowledge you received the message or hit “0” to repeat the message. If you hit “1” too early, it will acknowledge the message and hang up without you hearing anything.
