Filing Deadline Reminder:

Semi-Annual Campaign Finance Reports are due in office by 4 pm on 07/31/2026.

This report should reflect all activity from 01/01/2026 – 06/30/2026.

Candidates:

A campaign committee must file a post-election report by 4 p.m. on the 38th day after the election if the candidate appeared on the ballot. A post-general report covers all activity not previously reported through the 31st day after the election. Any campaign committee whose candidate appeared on the ballot must file a post-election report. R.C. 3517.10(A)(2)

PACs:

A PAC must file a semiannual report by 4 p.m. on the last business day of July if the PAC was not required to file a report after the immediately preceding primary election. A semiannual report should reflect all activity since the last report through June 30 and should reflect only the activity that has occurred since the previous report was filed. R.C. 3517.10(A)(4)

All reports must be physically received at the board office or filed with the Secretary of State’s office to meet the filing deadline requirements.
