2026-2029 Senior Services Strategic Plan

On September 24, 2026, the Board of Lake County Commissioners adopted the 2026–2029 Senior Services Strategic Plan, a comprehensive roadmap for strengthening support for Lake County older adults as needs continue to grow. The plan builds on nearly a year of research, community input, and system analysis, and was formally recommended for approval by the Senior Citizens Advisory Panel on September 1, 2026. As the Senior Services Levy continues to provide essential funding for services to older adults, this plan outlines how the County will modernize its approach to ensure every older adult can live safely, stay connected, and age with dignity in the place they call home.

This new plan follows the County’s previous strategic planning effort completed in 2015 by MCS Consulting, which helped establish a more structured approach to senior services. Both the current plan and the 2015 documents are available below.
