HOME – Housing Opportunities Made Equal

The HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) is a federal initiative managed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that provides funding to states and localities to support the creation, rehabilitation, and financing of affordable housing for low-income individuals and families. Through HOME funding, communities can build or renovate rental housing, provide homebuyer assistance, and offer affordable rental options. The program helps to increase the supply of affordable housing while fostering community development and neighborhood revitalization. The HOME program also aims to empower local governments and non-profit organizations to enhance housing opportunities, promote economic mobility, and improve the quality of life for underserved populations.
