Matthew J. Hebebrand serves as the inaugural mediator for the Lake County Juvenile Court. He was also appointed a magistrate judge to serve on an as needed basis. He previously served as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Ashtabula County where he was appointed Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Civil Division after working in both the criminal and civil divisions.

He also previously worked at STERIS Corporation and as a law clerk in the Erie County Court of Common Pleas, Erie, Pennsylvania. He is an alumnus of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, graduating summa cum laude in 2012. He lives in Painesville with his wife and three children.
