Proposed Road Improvement Plan
2020 Capital Improvement Program
(This plan is preliminary and subject to change based on deteriorating pavement condition ratings, emergencies, etc.)
The Lake County Engineer’s Office is Seeking Public Input on Improvements to the Bishop Road Bridge over Stoney Creek in the City of Kirtland.
Bishop Road will be closed to traffic at the bridge between US-6 and White Road during construction. A detour will be posted.
This transportation improvement is scheduled for construction in 2024. The estimated construction cost is $1,100,000.
Lake County is seeking public input regarding this project. Comments can be via mail to:

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.

Booth Road will be closed to traffic at the bridge between Kirtland –Chardon Road and Eagle Road during construction. A detour following Kirtland-Chardon Road and Eagle Road will be posted.
This transportation improvement is scheduled for construction in 2023. The estimated construction cost is $325,000.
