    Weather permitting, Blair Road in Perry Township will be closed to all through traffic beginning Monday, January 27, 2020.  The closure begins south of the Grand River at approximately 5240 Blair Road and extends approximately 500 feet south.  The closure is necessary to repair a retaining wall that was damaged due to an accident.

    The road is expected to re-open by Thursday, February 6, 2020.

    Motorists are reminded to abide by the closure and not move barricades.

    Ohio Department of Transportation Construction Update:

    *UPDATED*Vrooman Road Bridge replacement, Perry and LeRoy Townships Through late-September, Lane Rd. is closed at SR 84 for roadway work. The detour will be Sheppard Rd. Through November, SR 84 at Lane Rd. is restricted to one lane by a temporary traffic signal. River Rd. at SR 84 is closed permanently. All traffic wishing to use River Rd. will be directed to use Adams Rd. Through fall 2020, the intersection of Seeley Rd. and Vrooman Rd. will be closed to accommodate the construction work zone. Seeley Rd. will remain accessible via Paine Rd., maintaining access to Indian Point Park. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles. The entire project will construct a new Vrooman Rd. bridge over the Grand River on a new alignment, along with the resurfacing of the existing Vrooman Rd. between the new structure and I-90. Tentative completion date: October 2020.
