Lake County, Ohio - Commissioners



    The Board of Commissioners proclaimed the week of April 2-6, 2018, National Community Development Week in Lake County. This week was designated as National Community Development Week by the  National Community Development Association in celebration of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program.   In keeping with the local funding cycle, Lake County joins in calling attention to the great strides the programs have accomplished in our area.

    Over the past five years FY13-FY17, Lake County has received a total of $6,261,397.00 in CDBG funds and $1,786,808.00 in HOME funds.

    The CDBG and HOME activities listed below represent only a fraction of the successfully implemented programs that contribute to making Lake County a great place to live, work and conduct business;

                    CDBG – Economic Development Programs and Projects, Public Services, Public Facilities, Housing   Programs and Projects, and Infrastructure Improvements


                    HOME – Development/Rehabilitation of Homeownership and Rental Opportunities for eligible households, Tenant Based Rental Assistance in the form of placement costs and limited subsidy
