    Lake County Auditor's Office - Deputy Auditor (Field Appraiser II)(CAUV) -

    The Field Appraiser II (CAUV) position is under the direction of the Lake County Auditor, Chief Deputy Auditor this position is responsible for performing duties related to the operation of the Real Estate Appraisal Division of the Auditor’s Office, specifically discovering, gathering, verifying, and valuing property data on real property parcels located in Lake County, Ohio. These duties may require working in inclement weather and on rough terrain (active construction sites).     Lake County Board of Commissioners -

    IT Technician

     The Lake County Board of Commissioners (BCC) and the Telecommunications Department are seeking a full-time staff member to perform the various duties needed to install, maintain, and replace the multiple hardware and software platforms as well as phone, camera, card access, and intercom systems maintained by the Telecommunications Dept. This position will report directly to the Telecommunications Director. Duties to include: Installs, maintains and replaces all types of communications equipment such as, but not limited to IP cameras, card readers, phone systems, intercom systems, network switches and their applications, computer system cables, and other communications systems. Determines defects and makes necessary repairs. Installs or assists in the development and installation of new systems as required. Programs, services, and upgrades communications equipment and performs data entry into communication computers and maintenance terminals. Experience with Shortel phone systems and Paxton access control is preferred. Various IT certifications are preferred. Applicants must possess a valid Ohio driver’s license.     Engineering Inspector

    The Lake County Department of Utilities is accepting applications for the position of Full Time Engineering Inspector. Applicants must have a High School diploma or GED, a valid Ohio Driver’s license with a safe driving record. This position is responsible for a broad range of duties associated with project inspection, including, conducting field inspections, observing the construction and progress of water and wastewater projects, maintaining records, logs, and daily progress reports, developing familiarity with departmental rules, regulations, specifications and safety standards, reviewing drawings and prints, utilizing tools and instruments and exhibiting strong skills in verbal and written communication. Applicants should exercise basic judgment and time management skills, encompass analytical thinking, and provide customer service in a professional fashion.
