The Customer Service Department consists of 20 employees, servicing 75,837 customers with an average of six billing cycles per month. The number of bills issued ranges from 17,711 to 29,438 per month. To accomplish this, every employee must instill self pride in doing the best job of their ability.
As a public servant, we are obligated to provide the highest quality of service to the citizens of Lake County. This means that contacts with our customers, whether by telephone or face-to-face, are courteous, helpful, and convey confidence in our department.
Our mission is to respond to customer’s inquiry in a courteous and timely manner. Calculate and supply each customer with an accurate bill. Provide the customer with explanation of the department policies and procedures in a manner that they can understand and maintain good customer relations by treating each customer with the utmost respect.
