Wade Into Wetlands

Tuesday, June 21 to Thursday, June 23, 2016; 9am-3pm Daily

$75 members and $80 non-members

Location: Mentor Marsh (5185 Corduroy Rd, Mentor, OH 44060) Explore and learn about different wetland environments during this 3-day field experience workshop. Bring back ideas for hands-on classroom and schoolyard demonstrations. Gain field experience from Mentor Marsh and Lake County Soil & Water Conservation District naturalists as they lead this exciting and dynamic program. Be ready to share how you incorporate the outdoors into your students’ learning experience! 1 graduate credit is available through Ashland University for a separate fee of $175. Register by Tuesday, June 14, 2016.

• Participants meet at Mentor Marsh each day.

• The workshop takes place indoors and outdoors.

• Participants need to provide their own lunch, backpack, and appropriate attire for hiking and weather (coat, boots, water bottle, etc.).
