    ATTENTION LAKE COUNTY AGRI-BUSINESSES

Lake County launched a loan program last year offering Lake County agricultural businesses a low-cost, short-term alternative to finance their operating expenses. These dollars can be used by nurseries, grape growers, fruit or vegetable growers, as well as companies that add value to harvested crops, such as wineries, distilleries and food processors.  Loan amounts vary from $5,000 to $25,000 with repayment terms of up to 12 months. Complete details and eligibility guidelines, along with the application, are available for download on the Lake County Ohio Port and Economic Development Authority’s website, www.lcport.org.  You can also email Martin Gareau at mgareau@lcport.org or call him at 440-357-2290 ext. 229.
