CHILDREN IN NEED OF FOREVER FAMILIES

Billie

Date of Birth: 11-12-95

Billie is a very charming boy in search of a forever family.  Billie has many interests including gardening, arts and crafts, origami and listening to music. Billie enjoys football, baseball and watching NASCAR races.  His favorite driver is Jeff Gordon.

Billie has been through a lot during his lifetime.  He participates in therapy to address his history of abuse, neglect, separation and loss and mental health/behavioral issues.  Billie takes medication to help with his ADHD. He has also been diagnosed with Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Tourette ’s syndrome.

Billie is best suited for a two parent home with a strong male presence and where he would have other boys to play with.  Billie’s family will need to be supportive in helping him work through his issues regarding his past and participate in counseling as recommended by his therapist.  They should also be willing to maintain contact with his younger brothers.

The Lake County Department of Job and Family Services is seeking a permanent home for Billie.

If you have a family who is interested in being considered as a permanent placement for any of these children, please contact the Lake County Foster Care and Adoption Hotline at 440-350-4218 or fax 440-350-4010.
